Privacy policy.
How Horizon Procurements International collects, uses and protects the information you share with us.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Horizon Procurements International (“HPI”, “we”, “us”). For the purposes of UK data protection law, the data controller is Horizon Procurments Int Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 10573052, with its registered office at International House, 36–38 Cornhill, London EC3V 3NG. Our US entity is Horizon Procurements LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA.
You can contact us about this policy or your personal data at [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL].
2. What information we collect
We collect information you give us when you submit an enquiry, send a requirement, ask us to review a quotation or contact us. This may include:
- your name, job title, company, business email address, phone or WhatsApp number and country;
- details of your requirement, such as manufacturers, part numbers, quantities, delivery destinations and deadlines;
- documents you upload, such as RFQs, specifications, drawings, datasheets and supplier quotations;
- the content of any correspondence with us.
When you visit the website, standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type is processed so that pages can be delivered. [If analytics are added, describe them here.]
3. How we use your information
- to respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations;
- to identify suitable manufacturers and suppliers for your requirement;
- to review a supplier quotation you have sent us;
- to manage orders, shipping and export documentation if you place an order;
- to meet our legal obligations, including export control, sanctions and record-keeping requirements;
- to keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to that.
4. Our legal bases
Under UK data protection law we rely on: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (responding to enquiries and preparing quotations); performance of a contract (managing orders); legal obligation (export control, sanctions and tax records); and legitimate interests (running and securing our business and website, and corresponding with business contacts).
5. Who we share it with
We share requirement details with manufacturers, distributors and suppliers where needed to obtain a quotation. We share only what is necessary, and we do not identify your company to a supplier without good reason. We will not contact a supplier named in a quotation you send us without your permission.
We may also share information with logistics, freight, inspection and customs partners when handling an order; with professional advisers; with IT and hosting providers who process data on our behalf; and with authorities where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
We operate in the UK and the US, and our suppliers and partners are located in several countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or rely on UK adequacy regulations.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to [24 months]. Order, export and financial records are kept for as long as the law requires, typically [6 years]. We then delete or anonymise the data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
9. Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and your IP address is shared with Google. [Update this section if analytics, a form service or cookies are added.]
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including restricted access to enquiry documents. No internet transmission is completely secure, so please do not send information you are not authorised to share.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its date.
